Dr. Crystal J. Davis is a research affiliate with the Center for Workplace Diversity and Inclusion at the University of Phoenix. She is the highly sought-after author of three books: Leading from Within: The Spirituality of Servant Leadership (2014), Servant Leadership and Followership: Examining the Impact on Workplace Behavior (2017), and Bloom Where You Are Planted: Reflections on Servant Leadership (2018).

Crystal’s research interests are in the areas of servant leadership, organizational development and culture, change management, and diversity in management.
Crystal is an active member of The National Society of Leadership and Success and Delta Mu Delta International Business Honor Society. She is a Research Affiliate at the Center for Workplace Diversity and Inclusion, University of Phoenix. Crystal serves as a foreign reviewer for two peer-reviewed journals at universities in Pakistan, and she is a grant reviewer for several not-for-profit organizations in the state of Kansas.
Her service as a board member of ULEAD, Inc. in Goshen, IN, keeps her grounded in work with youth and youth workers. Crystal has edited and coached 27 doctoral learners in the USA and internationally to degree completion since 2014. She loves traveling the country facilitating seminars, book discussions, and conversations around what it means to show up as a Serving leader.
Crystal holds a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications from Kansas State University, an MHR in Human Relations (summa cum laude) from the University of Oklahoma, and a Doctorate in Management specializing in Organizational Leadership (magna cum laude) from the University of Phoenix.
